Background and Expertise
Bill Schmidt has more than 25 years’ experience driving growth and revenues in business start-ups, business development, acquisitions, strategic alliances, and sales and marketing. Prior to joining Tunnell, he served as President and CEO of Advanced Gelatin Technologies, where he successfully secured start-up capital and developed an international IP portfolio, and Executive Vice President at Midwest Stainless Process Systems implementing successful marketing strategies, expanding market channels, and overseeing strategic acquisitions. He has held scientific research positions at Dermik Laboratories, Sterling Winthrop and SmithKlineBeecham, where he developed and transferred process and product technology worldwide. Bill’s primary focus centered on process optimization for efficient technology transfer or commercial production optimization as well as manufacturing operations review for cost savings and efficiencies.Education
