Approaches to Improvement from Tunnell Consulting
What is Sigma?

Impact of Lean Six Sigma Projects

Improvement projects are typically scoped to have a bottom line impact of >$50k for GB projects and >$250k for BB projects. Bottom line results begin to flow quickly with approximately 35% of Lean Six Sigma projects delivering bottom line savings by the time the Analyze phase is reached. Typical deployments pass the breakeven point in the first year and have a 5:1 to 10:1 return in the first or second year. After the first 3 years Lean Six Sigma deployments typically return 3-4% of sales for small to medium size companies and 1-2% for large companies.
